右三十八章上章云道常無(wú)為，故次之以上德不德。上德無(wú)為，故合道。下德有為，不合道。仁義猶近德，可為進(jìn)道之階。禮者，純是作為多不實(shí)，以禮齊物，物轉(zhuǎn)不齊。蓋有為終有失也。執(zhí)之不失，亦可漸入佳境，自仁義而反德，自德而反道，直造無(wú)為也。前識(shí)者，智識(shí)也。智識(shí)者，失道之始。故曰道之華，有道者不處。

頌曰：未得超三界，如何出五常。五常歸罔象，獨(dú)步謁虛皇。
